WE THE PEOPLE


To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, the National Endowment for the Humanities in cooperation with the American Library Association, has awarded Mineola Memorial Library a "We the People bookshelf."

The bookshelf is a collection of classic books that reflect on the events and ideas in American history and culture, with the theme of "A More Perfect Union."
